Paci contemporary is glad to announce the official opening of the new prestigious gallery building in Brescia: a huge space of 700 sqm distributed on three levels! In this new building it will be possible to visit the temporary show on view and, at the same time, to admire the permanent collection of the gallery. Each represented artist will have a personal “room” installed with the entire selection of his works.

It will be a GREAT PRIVATE SPACE ENTIRELY FOCUSED ON PHOTOGRAPHY!

On the occasion of this special appointment, there will also be the opening of the anthological show of the famous Photographer of style: HORST P. HORST, among the last new entries of the gallery. The name Horst P. Horst is synonymous with timeless elegance and sensual sophistication. A leading artist at Vogue magazine for six decades, he was an international figure able to chronicle the interwoven worlds of art, design, performance. The photographs here exhibited are testament to Horst’s virtuoso talent, to his mastery of light, form and space.

For the first time at the gallery, this unique exhibition will feature together both iconic colour prints – seldom or never before been on display – and some of his most popular fashion photos.

A great anthological volume featuring the entire production of the artist has been issued for the show, published by Silvana Editoriale and curated by Susanna Brown, Curator at Photographs Department of Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
